Do you have a showroom?
We do not have our own public showroom but GillmoreSPACE products can be seen in a number of design stores and furniture shops across the UK. To view a list of GillmoreSPACE dealers with showrooms please see Our Clients page but do remember to call ahead before visiting to be sure they have your chosen item on display.
Alternatively by special appointment you are welcome to visit our warehouse premises in South Devon, UK to view any stock item.
Can I see an example of the finish?
Pocket sized sample swatches of individual wood or fabric finishes can be supplied free of charge within 48 hours. Please contact us by email us or call 0845 373 2763 with your full address and details of the exact finish you require.
Can GillmoreSPACE products be made to a special size or colour?
We sell from stock as opposed to manufacture to order so we are unable to customise our products. However for specifiers to the hospitality industry and other volume orientated trade buyers we do offer a bespoke design and supply service provided order quantities per design are in excess of 15 units.
How long does delivery take?
For stock items standard delivery time takes between 7 and 21 days depending on the product size. For furniture information please refer to Delivery times
I have an important delivery deadline, how do I know what products can be delivered by that date?
For stock items we can usually accommodate even the most demanding delivery deadlines with our express delivery service, please contact us to discuss your requirements by email us or call 0845 373 2763 before placing your order.
If an item is out of stock, how long does delivery take?
When possible estimated availability dates for non stock items are listed. If not please contact us to discuss your requirements by email or call 0845 373 2763.
How secure is my credit card payment?
All card payment transactions are processed through the SagePay payment gateway which achieves the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) as verified by Security Metrics. Full card information is never displayed to any individual at GillmoreSPACE or SagePay as data transmission is done using 128-bit SSL encrypted certificates. So you can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing can be examined, used or modified by any third parties.
Do you offer discounts?
Special offers are available in the following ways:
Sale Items : Discounted selling prices on selected products (depending on stock) throughout the year.
Furniture Packages : Buying a full room set for some collections saves 10% or more compared against individual prices.
Seconds : Huge clearance discounts are frequently offered on factory seconds and ex-display pieces.
I have seen your products on other websites?
Yes, as a successful design and wholesale business we supply many leading online retailers, some of who prefer to market our designs without the GillmoreSPACE branding or product names.
How can I apply for a trade account?
Professional buyers must tick the ‘Are you a Trade Customer?’ option when registering your company details on the website. Following registration your trade status will be verified. The verification process can take up to 48 hours so if you are applying for a trade account and have a very urgent order we recommend you call a member of the GillmoreSPACE sales team on 0845 373 2763.
How will I know to be at home to receive the delivery?
With the exception of small items delivered by courier every delivery will be booked in advance so you will know what day and time to expect your delivery. If you are not in to receive a courier delivery the driver will issue a card through your letterbox with a number to call to arrange a re-delivery. Please note if you are not in to receive the arranged re-delivery your order is likely to be returned to us and any subsequent re-delivery costs will be charged.
Does the delivery driver assemble the furniture?
No. Our standard delivery is conducted by one person (the driver) who will carry your order to the entrance of your specified delivery address. Please refer to Delivery and Assembly information for further details.
Can I have another copy of the assembly instructions?
Yes. Please email us with the product code and we can email you a PDF copy of the assembly instructions.
A component is missing
Please email us with the product code and component or hardware part number as listed in the assembly instructions. Most items can be posted to you within 48 hours.
How do I care for my product?
Cleaning couldn’t be easier with veneer or lacquered furniture. A multi surface cleaner applied using a soft duster every 14 days or so should keep your product looking crisp and new for years. For our fabric products it is possible to carry out spot cleaning with an appropriate cleaning agent otherwise remove the cover fully and dry clean.
Cabinet hinges may require re-balancing if a door is used regularly, and this can be done by gently turning the hinge adjusters with a screw driver.
Please remember contemporary furniture is unforgiving to heavy physical wear and tear. For example in a busy domestic environment surface scratches and chips will occur over time from the impact of children’s toys and other sharp objects. It is essential practice to use placemats and coasters underneath wet or hot items and of course wooden and leather furniture must be kept away from a direct heat source such as the sun, a radiator or an open fire.
