We accept payment with all major credit and debit cards online or over the telephone. Powered by Protx every online transaction through the GillmoreSPACE website is 100% secure.

Delivery charges (standard service)

We offer free delivery on orders over £500 in value (£1000net for trade account orders). Otherwise delivery charges will be applied depending on delivery location and size/weight of the goods.  Actual delivery charges are calculated and visible once you arrive at 'review order stage' in the checkout process.

Delivery times (standard service)

Our aim is to carry stock of all our furniture products and as a result we are able to offer our customers some of the fastest delivery times around.

Delivery times for each item are given alongside the title 'availability'.

You will notice that delivery times for stock items do vary from one design to another.  This is due to the type of carrier required for the size and shape of the item. For example a small light weight item such as a lamp table can be delivered via an express courier in a matter of days. However heavy, bulky items such as wardrobes are fragile and have to be delivered in our own van which will take longer depending on your delivery location.

If you are ordering a stock item and have an urgent deadline which is sooner than the delivery time listed please contact our sales team or select 'express delivery' at checkout.  For an additional charge we can usually upgrade most deliveries to an express service and meet even the most challenging deadlines.  

When an item is not in stock a delivery forecast is listed. This forecast must be used as a guide only as it can be subject to change. Customers ordering non stock items will receive regular delivery updates and of course payment is only processed once the delivery time can be guaranteed within 28 days.

Delivery areas covered (standard service)

Our standard delivery service covers all parts of mainland UK (including Scottish Highlands) extending right across Northern Ireland and The Irish Republic. If you specify a delivery address which is outside these territories we will contact you to discuss a special delivery quotation.

Free delivery

We are pleased to offer free delivery on orders over £500 in value to all UK delivery postcodes with the exception of GY, JE, BT, DG, TD, KA, ML, EH, G, FK, KY, PA, PH, AB, IV, KW.

However for delivery postcodes DG, TD, KA, ML, EH, G, FK, KY, PA, PH, AB, IV, KW we do offer free delivery on orders over £1000 in value.

Trade account holders also qualify for free delivery as follows:

£1000+ (excl VAT) order value to all UK delivery postcodes with the exception of GY, JE, BT, DG, TD, KA, ML, EH, G, FK, KY, PA, PH, AB, IV, KW postcodes.

£1500+ (excl VAT) order value to DG, TD, KA, ML, EH, G, FK, KY, PA, PH, AB, IV, KW postcodes.

Delivery addresses

Our standard delivery service is conducted by one person in a van or truck up to the vehicle tailgate. It is therefore very important to ensure suitable vehicle access and to be physically able to handle the goods from the vehicle tailgate into your premises.

Delivery time booking

Upon order despatch customers are emailed tracking details so that the delivery can be traced and contact can be made with the network if required. Non parcel/pallet deliveries which are usually delivered in one of our vans will always be booked in by telephone 24 hours before dispatch.

Enhanced delivery service (including furniture assembly)

This premium delivery service is provided for customers who require one or more of the following:

  • Delivery for a stock item(s) needed sooner than the delivery time listed.
  • Delivery needs to be done on a specific date and/or time.
  • The goods need to be carried and placed inside a premises.
  • The goods need to be assembled and packaging removed.

The enhanced delivery service can be selected at order review stage in the checkout process. A member of our sales team will then contact you to discuss your specific requirments and price the delivery surcharge accordingly.

Collect your order

To save the delivery charge you are welcome to collect your order from our premises. However please consider the suitability of your vehicle as many of our furniture products are large, heavy and fragile.

Storage

Should you need to delay the dispatch date of your order for any reason we are happy to offer 28 days free storage. Thereafter weekly storage charges apply which are calculated on the volumetric size of the goods.

Returns - due to change of mind

We are very confident you will be fully satisfied with your purchase however should you feel it to be inappropriate your order can be returned within 7 days for a full refund less the return delivery costs. Please note this is subject to the following important terms:

  • The goods are returned unused and in perfect condition.
  • The goods are fully re-packaged and sealed in the original packaging and format.

Returns - due to transit damaged

It is imperative that goods are inspected for obvious signs of transit damage before signing any delivery receipt. Goods with signs of mishandling must be signed  'damaged' alongside your signature on the delivery receipt. If in doubt sign your delivery receipt 'damaged'. Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery so that a claim for transit damage can be filed with the carrier and a replacement unit can be dispatched.

Returns - due to manufacturing fault

We are proud to offer a 12 month guarantee on all our furniture products on the condition that it is cared for and used appropriately. In the unlikely event that workmanship or material faults do develop during the warranty period please contact our sales office by email supporting your claim with digital photographs. We will repair the item free of charge during this period, or replace it if necessary.

We do our utmost to ensure all product information listed and illustrated is as accurate as possible. If in doubt colour sample swatches are available on request and we recommend you inform our sales team using our online contact form if the dimensions of any product are absolutely critical to your purchase.

Furniture assembly

GillmoreSPACE is not a supplier of 'flat pack' style furniture so many of our items are ready to place in position straight out of the box. However for safer transportation products with a delivery condition listed as 'semi-assembled' will often have the legs, handles and shelves packed separately and will require basic customer assembly. For stairwell and doorway access very bulky items such as wardrobes and beds are listed with an 'unassembled' delivery condition, this means full customer assembly is required. Additional advice on assembly can be obtained from a member of our team using our online contact form and remember we offer a furniture assembly service as an enhanced delivery upgrade.
